It´s Always Midnight at the Library

-Before your read the rest: NEVER GIVE UP, DON´T BE AFRAID TO ASK FOR PROFESSIONAL HELP, LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND SO IS EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU OUT THERE. #DONTGIVEUP

There is something strange about libraries, you are able to visit them at any given time if you have a taste for books. You can book time with yourself, shelf a couple of books you want to donate or even go to a “bookstore” in a library format.

(Inside joke alert) As I promised, this goes to the nice Andrea Houses. ¿Why dedicate this review to houses instead of an author? As an aspiring writer I can say she was one of the first persons to ever tell me I shouldn’t abandon my dream of sharing my words with the world.

Anyhow, anywho, anywhere, anywhen, going back to the book in question: “The Midnight Library” by Matt Haig let me tell you it is an unequivocal proof that fiction can caress your soul just as an hour of therapy or a long read of a self care book. From the very beginning it shows promise on the contemplation of life inviting us to never give up even when circumstances become harsh. Life is about constant learning, not about constant rushing.

For many years I wanted everyone´s lives, thinking mine was boring, sad or uneventful, but I was just myopic of our superior being´s plan. (in my case God). This book allowed me to see beyond the horizon, helping me embrace the present, letting go of the past lives I will never be able to mend and it also motivated me to build my own future.

Now, if you see someone you love or even someone you don´t know struggling with something, never hasitate in offering your love and help in a kind and respectful way. For instance this week I accidently bought four chicken sandwiches and due to a miscommunication error, I ended loosing a pair on my way back to work, everyone either laught with me or laught at me, but its okay, I made someone happy on my way to lunch my sandwich.

Nora planted a seed in me and since I don´t want to include spoilers in this review, it shall end here with a last notice: Can we please normalize speaking up about mental health as a disability that can paralize you over time?

(tell me if you want more info on the chicken sandwich mixup) jajajaja
