We all need a little Sincero in our lives

We all need more «sincero» or sincere people in our lives, those who are willing to have the difficult conversations, the necessary interventions and the most truthful sense of love and self love.

To be very «sincero» I walked into my favorite bookstore wanting to buy something to motivate me a little bit. I spent perhaps 30 minutes looking for a book until a specific author caught my attention. There was no first name, just one last name: SINCERO. And she was also telling me: YOU ARE A BADASS. As you can see when I found this particular book my search ended and I happily left with a new non fiction friend in a small bag.

When I began reading I was motivated just by seeing the cover that reminded me that even in the lowest moments I can always pick myself up if I decide to be a total badass taking away intrusive thoughts, subconscious chains and every day cheap excuses.

I later learned the author’s full name, Jennifer Sincero, a woman that had the guts to write a life changing book in a funny, well written and self loving way. Turns out I bought the 10 year anniversary special edition. This means she is the real BADASS because if something can remain so relevant in time it is definitely a must read.

Personally, I loved this part of the book where she dedicated it to her dad and brother quoting Hafiz. 10 years later I think this brilliant quote: «Even after all this time the sun never says to the earth «you owe me» can now be dedicated to Jen, since she has touched countless lives with her work. She just had the courage to write a book so all of us could begin to shine.

I am working every day to become a Badass thanks to this book where you can find some of this valuable lessons:

• You have to have a pep talk with your subconscious mind before becoming the best version of yourself.
• Believing in God or a superior being means you need to find a connection with Him in order to receive blessings from the universe
• Love yourself no matter what, you will always be you, so you better become comfortable and happy with who you are or work towards the person you want to be.
• Cut the crap man or woman, excuses are killing every single one of your great dreams, If you dont try, how the hell do you expect a good result?

Since I sincerely want you to read this book I shall not reveal more knowledge. YOU ARE A BADASS is a most read for any person who is striving to become better, stronger, happier and comfortable in their own skin. As you can see I gained courage to take a selfie just for the sake of this post.

Dear Jen, if you ever read my humble review, just know you where one of the motivators to get this little blog going. You and a very kind girl called Lily to whom I gave your advice and ended up realizing: if I can share Jen´s knowledge how come I am so afraid of using it for my own purposes.

As I said we all need more Sincero people in our lives or become the next successful badass the world requires to have more honest conversations and more beautifully lived lives.
